The Cloud Club is a housing project in Boston, MA. It was converted from two seperate houses by artist, Lee Barron. It offers cut-price housing for aspiring artists. Amanda Palmer once attended a party at the Cloud Club and when seeing Barron writing out a 'Room for Rent' sign, asked to move in, after a brief trial period she was given a permenant place. Amanda's apartment includes a baby grand piano, and other areas in the house provided rehersal space for The Dresden Dolls in the early days of the band.

The cloud club was also the home of Michael Pope, the director of many Dresden Dolls and Amanda Palmer music videos, two of which, Good Day and Coin-Operated Boy were filmed in and around the Cloud Club.

A documentary featuring Amanda Palmer was made and is avaliable online.
